Event Grand Baking Demo in Tasikmalaya

Boosting the Economy and Competitiveness of MSMEs, PT. Manunggal Perkasa Holds Grand Baking Demo and Culinary Festival in Tasikmalaya

Tasikmalaya, PT. Manunggal Perkasa held the Grand Baking Demo and Culinary Festival event with the theme “Pa Tepung Fest.” This event took place for 2 days from July 14-15, 2023, at the Susi Susanti Dadaha Sports Hall in Tasikmalaya city. The Grand Baking Demo and Culinary Festival were attended by both flour and non-flour MSME participants and was attended by thousands of visitors from various areas in East Priangan (Ciamis, Pangandaran, Tasikmalaya, and Garut).

Manager Customer Service/Baking Laboratorium PT. Manunggal Perkasa’s Customer Service/Baking Laboratory Manager, Hariyatno, stated that this event aims to greet all customers and residents around Tasikmalaya, as well as to boost the economy and competitiveness of MSMEs. In addition, with the Grand Baking Demo and Culinary Festival, it is hoped that PT. Manunggal Perkasa’s flour products, which bear the names of typical Indonesian flowers such as Kantil, Melati, Raflesia, Soka, and Dahlia, can be better known to the people of East Priangan.

The Grand Baking Demo was directly guided by professional chefs (Chef in The Batik Antonie Audran’s) with 4 recipes: Chocolate Babka, Gateau Bosque Cake, Parpedelle Noodle, and Citrus Madeleine Biscuits, and was attended by 500 flour-using MSMEs. The Grand Baking Demo event was also enlivened by Guest Stars Cucu Cahyati, Ies Ashera, and The Masterpis Acoustic. Additionally, during the Grand Baking Demo event, PT. Manunggal Perkasa also invited the Tasikmalaya Industry and Trade Service to provide education on permits and PIRT (Production and Industrial Trade License) to MSMEs and all participants of the Grand Baking Demo.

The Culinary Bazaar activity was participated by 81 bazaar stands from various culinary entrepreneurs. 75% of the bazaar stands were filled with flour-based foods and the remaining 25% of stands. This activity was attended by residents of Tasikmalaya and East Priangan. In addition, various other activities were held around the bazaar area, including Donut Making Creation Competition among Vocational High Schools in East Priangan,

Coloring and Collage Competition for Kindergarten Level, Tahfidz Competition, and Healthy Walk using Aprons/Cloths participated by 1000 participants.

This event was warmly welcomed by MSMEs and the entire community of Tasikmalaya and East Priangan. After the Grand Baking Demo and Culinary Festival activities, it is hoped that PT. Manunggal Perkasa can become more recognized and become the primary choice partner for MSMEs.
