The ISO 22000 Version 6.0 training for factory employees is an important step in ensuring optimal food safety. With the growing consumer demand for safe and high-quality products, a deep understanding of this standard has become crucial. Through effective training, employees will not only comprehend the requirements of ISO 22000 Version 6.0 but also understand their role in maintaining product quality and safety.

A total of 25 employees from PT. Manunggal Perkasa participated in the ISO 22000 Version 6.0 training, conducted by trainer Mr. Jamal Zamrudi. The training aimed to enhance understanding of the FSSC 22000 Version 6.0 requirements and the documents necessary for its implementation, prepare for the application and management of food safety management systems, identify changes from the previous version, and equip employees with practical knowledge through workshops and case studies.

FSSC 22000 Version 6.0, released in April 2023, introduced several significant changes compared to the previous version. Key changes include the removal of certain food chain categories and the addition of new categories. The certification training covers the FSSC scheme, hazard analysis, and the implementation of sanitation programs, using presentation methods and case studies.

With the ISO 22000 Version 6.0 training, PT. Manunggal Perkasa aims to enhance food safety by reducing the risk of product contamination through employee contributions in implementing ISO 22000. Additionally, employees will be able to apply SOPs, improve managerial and operational skills, and boost consumer trust in the company’s high-quality products (such as Terigu Kantil, Aster, Melati, Soka, Dahlia, and Raflesia). Investing in this training is a strategic step towards achieving competitive advantage and sustainability in the food industry (Rt/Csb).
