PRODUCTION PROCESS

Supreme quality wheat sourced from around the world, including the USA, Australia, Canada, and Western Europe, is collected to produce the finest flour. Our facilities have significantly increased their production capacity over the years. Starting with 1,000 metric tonnes of grain daily in 1997, we reached 1,200 metric tonnes daily by 2017. This achievement has been facilitated by the support of Bühler machineries, the swiss technology group, reownedfor manufacturing some of the finest and most advanced flour milling equipment globally.

Nineteen steel silos, with a total capacity of 90,000 metric tons of wheat, are equipped with an automatic transport system for wheat transfer from mother vessels, utilizing both power suction and crane mechanisms. The wheat transfer process from silo to raw wheat bin is precisely programmed based on the type of flour intended for production.

The initial step involves the separation of impurities such as plastic scraps, broken wheat, and gravel from the wheat grain using Bühler grain-cleaning machines. Following this, the wheat is sprayed with water and mixed in a wheat dampening machine before being transferred to the tempering Bin via screw conveyor for the incubation process. This process allows water absorption into the grain, softening the bran, making it easier to separate the endosperm/starch for the grinding process in the break roll. its is crucial to ensure that the bran doesn”t break during this process, as it affects the quality of the four by increasing the ash percentage.

Accurately meassured manufacturing process using bühler technology

The milling process typically lasts between * to 26 hours, depending on the type of wheat. harder grains require longer milling times. The process begins with break roll machines and proceeds through sifters to refine the yield. The final product is temporarily stored in the Flour Bin before being transferred to the automated packing station, where it is packaged into 25 kg bags and moved to the warehouse for distribution.

In 1995, PT Manunggal Perkasa was founded to meet the increasing demand for high-quility wheat flour at reasonable prices. This was a timewhen supplies were limited in the market. Cilacap, located in Central Java was chosen as the strategic location for the premium miling facility.

A VAST CHANNEL OF DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

In the beginning, our distribution was limited to only a certain part of South Java. However, Throught extensive marketing expansion programs, our products now cover the entirely of Java island. Manunggal’s wheat flours are distributed through trusted sales channels and distributors who possess extensive experience and professionalism in distributing our products.

Both Manunggal Perkasa and these distributors have fostered a mutual relationship since the time when the wheat flour business was solely controlled and managed by Bulog. The transportation of flour from the facility to sub-distributors, retailers, and culinary industries in different cities is independentlymanaged by these distributors.
