MATCHA MILK LATTE CAKE

Ingredients:
MELATI flour 120 gr
Granulated sugar 150 gr
Eggs 4 pcs
Baking powder 5 gr
Margarine (melted) 70 gr
Sweetened condensed milk 80 gr
Milk powder 20 gr
Matcha powder as needed
Grated cheese (for topping) as needed
Cuttard (Vla) Ingredients:
Liquid milk 250 ml
Granulated sugar 30 gr
Cornstarch 20 gr
Vanilla 1 gr

How to make:

  1. Beat the eggs and sugar until thick and fluffy.
  2. Add the flour and baking powder. Mix until well combined.

  3. Add the sweetened condensed milk and melted margarine. Stir until smooth.

  4. Pour half of the batter into a 20 x 20 cm mold. Steam for 10 minutes.

  5. Add matcha powder to the remaining batter and mix well.

  6. Pour the matcha layer over the first layer. Steam until fully cooked (approximately 15 minutes).

  7. Spread the custard (vla) on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Cut into desired sizes and serve.

  8. Custard (Vla) Instructions: Mix the milk, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla. Cook over low heat.
  9. Once thickened, let it cool.

Yields 1 pan (approximately 16 pieces).
