How to make:
Add the flour and baking powder. Mix until well combined.
Add the sweetened condensed milk and melted margarine. Stir until smooth.
Pour half of the batter into a 20 x 20 cm mold. Steam for 10 minutes.
Add matcha powder to the remaining batter and mix well.
Pour the matcha layer over the first layer. Steam until fully cooked (approximately 15 minutes).
Spread the custard (vla) on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Cut into desired sizes and serve.
Once thickened, let it cool.
Yields 1 pan (approximately 16 pieces).
