Cilacap – As quoted from cilacapkab.go.id. Kodim 0703/Cilacap, in cooperation with the Cilacap District Government along with Forkopimda and other stakeholders, held a Market Fair event, Tuesday (05/03/2024) at Alun-alun Cilacap.
The event, opened by Danrem 071/Wijayakusuma Colonel Czi Mohammad Andhy Kusuma, attracted the interest of hundreds of people who were willing to queue for hours.
Market Fair events were held simultaneously throughout all districts and cities in Central Java Province, aimed at easing the burden on the community in meeting basic needs ahead of the 1445 H Ramadan month, especially as the prices of basic necessities are currently rising, so it is hoped that the community can obtain them at affordable prices.
During this Market Fair event, PT. Manunggal Perkasa provided 750 kg of wheat flour (brand Dahlia). To reach as many people as possible in Cilacap, each person was only allowed to buy a maximum of 2 kg of wheat flour.
With high enthusiasm from the community, the sale of wheat flour ran out quickly, in less than 30 minutes.
This initiative is a collaboration between PT. Manunggal Perkasa, Kodim 0703/Cilacap, and the Local Government of Cilacap District to maintain the stability of basic necessities prices, especially approaching Ramadan 1445 H. (wh/pga)
