Reflecting on the Existence of Serulingmas Migrants in the Halal Bihalal and Inauguration of the New Board of Trustees of Paguyuban Serulingmas Solo Raya 2023-2028

Surakarta, PT Manunggal Perkasa proudly participated in the Halal Bihalal event and the Inauguration of the New Board of Trustees of Paguyuban Serulingmas Solo Raya 2023-2028. The event was lively and filled with a sense of family at Ndalem Mar Sum Building, Bhayangkara Street, Surakarta.

The inauguration of the new board was attended by approximately 250 people, including various invited guests and leaders of the community. Among them were the Chairman of the Central Board, Dr. H. Wisnu Suhardono, SE, MSi, and notable figures of Paguyuban Serulingmas Solo Raya, such as Major General (Ret.) Dwi Wahyu Winarto and former Deputy Mayor of Surakarta Dr. Achmad Purnomo, Apt.

The annual gathering was conducted in the Ngapak Javanese dialect, a distinctive feature reflecting the community’s identity. The event included speeches by Chairman Wisnu Suhardono, who spoke about the transition of leadership from Subiyanto Siswomartono to the new chairman, Lukman Hadi Prayitno.

Wisnu also gave guidance to the board members and all members of Paguyuban Serulingmas. He expressed his hope that Paguyuban Serulingmas would continue to thrive amidst the advancing times. Wisnu also reminded everyone that the sons and daughters of Serulingmas always serve as the pillars of Indonesia’s development wherever they may be.

The event concluded with a friendly session accompanied by the traditional Banyumas dance known as Lengger Gambyong Eling Eling. This special dance added to the festive atmosphere and served as a moment to preserve Javanese culture in the modern era.

Paguyuban Serulingmas Solo Raya is a social organization that serves as a community for migrants from Banyumas, Purbalingga, Cilacap, Kebumen (BARLINGMASCAKEB) regions. The community is known for using the Ngapak Javanese dialect.

Established in 1976 by (Late) Mr. Soesilo Soedarman, (Late) Mr. Surono, (Late) Mr. Soeparjo Roestam, and other pioneers, Paguyuban Serulingmas aims to preserve the cultural heritage of traditional Banyumas music and provide a gathering place for knowledge sharing and appreciation of Serulingmas arts.

In addition to arts and cultural activities, Paguyuban Serulingmas has contributed to various social projects, such as establishing STIKES Serulingmas in Maos, Serulingmas Zoo in Banjarnegara, Serulingmas Village Tour in Purbalingga, and the Sudirman Monument in Purwokerto.
