RAINBOW STEAMED CAKE

INGREDIENTS :
MELATI Wheat Flour 120 grams
Eggs 4 pcs
Granulated Sugar 120 grams
Salt 1/4 tsp
Emulsifier 5 grams
Baking Powder 1/4 tsp
Instant thick coconut milk 75 grams
Light green food coloring 3 drops
Pink food coloring 3 drops

HOW TO MAKE  :

  1. Beat the eggs, sugar, salt, and emulsifier until fluffy. Add MELATI wheat flour and baking powder while sifting, and fold in alternately with the instant thick coconut milk.
  2. Divide the batter into three portions. Add light green food coloring to one portion, mix well, then place into a piping bag.
  3. Add pink food coloring to another portion, mix well, then place into a piping bag.
  4. Leave the last portion plain (white), and place into a piping bag.
  5. Pipe the batter alternately by color into small flower-shaped plastic molds greased with oil.
  6. Steam over medium heat for 20 minutes until cooked.

     

    Yield: about 12 pieces.
